Drip rail. use sealer or?????

my drip rails and cab are fine no rust. I'm taking the media blasted cab to the body shop today. What are you guys doing reinstalling sealer in drips rail or what? I do not want to shave them. Thanks If seal what kind are you guys using? 3m?

The thing nobody does and it costs you later is you need to primer. The metal BEFORE you put the seam sealer and yes 3M sealer is best ,

I used SEM self-leveling and it was primed before I put it down.

3M self leveling also. Two types. I primed first.
