Door fitment question
I'm looking at a drivers door from a 1970 20 series c10 for my 71 Chevy c10. Are the 20 series the same or are they different ?

Re: Door fitment question
All 67 to 72 doors are the same but on some of the big trucks the front corner is cut off for the fender even those can be used on a pickup just have to weld a corner on it ,,,

Re: Door fitment question
Their is some small variations in truck doors: mirror holes, 72 doors had the dimple screw under the vent window and door panels use plastic pop-in clips to mount inner door panels where 67-71 used a threaded machine screw. Also, 72 doors (only) inner door window regulator and door latch release has longer mounting shafts for inner handles. 67 doors use a slightly different outer handle and the inner door is reinforced in that area, plus vent window handles are different than 68-72's.
With saying all that, your doors - 70-71 doors are pretty much identical. But, one thing that I have noticed over the years is that doors made at different GM plants during that era do not fit well in cabs that were made at another GM plant. Not sure - maybe tooling, but that is just my observation. Good luck...
