Haven't been on here for awhile, been through a few K5's and some Jeeps and was bashing them on the rocks.

Uncle Called a few weeks back and offered up my Grandpas 1973 GMC 3/4 ton 4x4. Its been sitting for approx. 30 years and he finally realized he'd never get around to fixing it up so I Grabbed the trailer and cruised up to get it.

Its never left the farm and has 69K miles 350/SM465/NP205. I put fresh gas in it and a new battery and it fired right up. Even found the build sheet in the glove box

First set of parts came in today so I should have her on the road in a few weeks, then tear it down for repaint and interior

looks like a solid truck!- that's a cool story to go with it too, nothing like keeping it in the family. I've had a couple family trucks that have slipped through my hands over the years and regretted it ever since. good luck with it and keep us posted!

Its a chainsaw carrier lol Can't fit one of those in the engine bay of my 2011

I can honestly say I have never heard of anyone carrying a chainsaw under the hood of their Chevy, lol

For a second there I was amazed at how little rust there is for a Utah truck. Then I comprehended it was a farm truck,.

It's actually spent it's whole life in oregon
