Chevy Truck Manuals : 1947-1955 1st Series The Advance-Design Trucks
An article I helped contribute to, but did not write the majority of... about the manuals and sales literature available for the '47-'55 style trucks :
Chevy Truck Manuals : 1947-1955 1st Series The Advance-Design Trucks I think it will come in handy to a lot of folks. If you see some new people with those trucks wandering around, please point 'em that way. Enjoy, add any feedback you may have, thanks, -W |

Saved. I have a reproduction of what is probably the "silver" book for 48 trucks that I got from Jim Carter. http://www.oldchevytrucks.com/ I use it quite a bit to answer questions that pop up here.

The other writer there had most of the knowledge, I just got him started on it and asked him to do it. He really knows the manuals for that style. I hope it comes in handy to folks. -W |
