Wow, right after I posted it, lol. It was a reproduction truck bed, no fenders or floor, for about 500

Re: Portland CL deal
My buddy has a sweet deal on CL. Runner 53 with title and a 53 Gmc 5 window 3/4 ton. No motor. With enough parts to build a 3rd sans frame damn near.

Re: Portland CL deal
Your buddy's trucks do sound pretty fairly priced by current prices. A person could build a decent truck using the best of the pieces in that pile and still get a return on the initial investment at the swapmeet. As the swapmeet is coming up in a couple of weeks it's the time that some great deals pop up along with some outlandish prices on so so stuff being thrown out hoping a sucker will take the bait.

Re: Portland CL deal
He's had many lookers. No takers.
Yeah I can't wait for the swap meet. Need both driver and passenger windows and was hoping to get all new associated hardware. Felt and what not. |
