Belt system for a 4x4, factory A/C, and tall valve covers
Like the title says I need help finding a belt system, v-belt or serpentine, for my sbc 400. I will be using factory A/C and I have tall valve covers. Right now I'm having to beat in my firewall due to the tall valve covers.
Right now I do not have a system at all so could anyone point me to a kit they are using? I would like something polished or chrome. Any pictures would be great too! |

Factory serp belt drive off of 93-95 truck would work regardless of the valve cover height. The vortec style from 96-99 would work too.
Only thing you need to do is clearance the pass side bracket for the mechanical fuel pump on either.

I would like to have it chrome or polished as most of my engine is. But I will take that into consideration if nothing else works.
Would March's 22072 kit work? Has anyone used this before? http://www.summitracing.com/parts/mch-22072/overview/ |

I moved my engine forward 2" and use a factory serp system from a 1992 small block. No clearancing as I used an electrical fuel pump. Haven't had a chance to get my factory a/c working yet but it is also a 400 SBC and seems to cool well.
