Re: 73-80 interiors
Mine's kinda different but not at the same time. I have my origional door panels but covered in camo fabric. Camo covered dash n headliner will be next. It still has the woodgrain inserts tan seat & belts. Orange trim. Different but meh. I didn't spend a lot on it just wanted different.

Re: 73-80 interiors
Keep in mind that the window crank shaft is shorter on 73-76 doors compared to later models.

Re: 73-80 interiors
Thanks JWall. I like the black contrast to the body color. I'm thinkin' mine will be yellow paint with black inside. Just not sure how to break it all up.

Re: 73-80 interiors
JWall, where did you get the trim or pedals in your truck. I have looked everywhere for it.

The dash pieces are made by Empire Motor Sports but they are several years old. Other people sell them now LMC has them here. The door panel trim we made custom out of some other billet pieces I had. |

if you have a 73 it gets more complicated since 73 had the tiny rollers in the tracks, but 74+ regulators can be modified to work in the 1973 doors. you just remove the tiny roller and use a bolt and nut and "nut/washer,washer/nut" setup to replicate the tiny roller. |

Re: 73-80 interiors
Couldn't you just swap doors? I've got a '90 Suburban I'm considering parting out for my brother's '73 3+3, I thought I'd just swap the doors so I can get all the power options and lack of rust from the 'Burban

Re: 73-80 interiors
Yep. It's easier to just swap doors
We didn't realize that till we had already dismantled both sets of doors |

Re: 73-80 interiors
Still not totally complete but here is a pic of my 79 Silverado interior. It was going to be all red but I couldn't find a red headliner so I went with the black headliner and seat. Looks way better than the all red would have.
