What offset do those wheels have? 5" would be just about right.

That prob puts the tire real close to the outer fender lip. You might have to roll the lip for clearance.

i was just measure the tire and rim . the total back spacing was 5. that with the tire . i'll sell them before i do that . lol the front i put 15x8 with 205/65/15. should be no problems . i met just and have my rear end narrow . it only cost 150.00 at JAB hot rod shop .

Seems like it would be easier to get wheels w/the exact back spacing you require. A 10" wheel will fit w/o the hassle of narrowing the axle.

Depends on backspacing just as other members suggested. I ordered Torque Thrust II's with standard offset and the tire rubbed the bed, not the outer lip. ARE built me a set of custom rims with more back-spacing to push wheel away from bed. I've also run 9.5" and 10" with no problem. My set up is a 275, 60, 17, but moving to a wider tire soon.

10's will not fit with incorrect backspacing, print out the instructions on how to measure for offsets before ordering. Again, my 9.5" rubbed the bed, not the lip. If your backspace is too great, you'll rub fender. Anyway, do the homework and save yourself some and frustration.

I have 17x9½'s with a flip kit. I used 5½" BS and it works out perfectly..in fact, I prolly could have went with 5", and I'd still be ok...

I've got 15x10x4.5 b/s and im running a flip kit and 275/50/15 rear and 265/50/15 front.
I've got a stepside bed and i think the rear wheel well size's are differant from that of a fleetside bed. Stepsides having more room. But i did roll the front fender lip in cuz if i hit a dip or pot hole hard enough the tire would come up and contact the lip and the tire side walls would get sliced. |
