Wiper Switch Wiring 66 C10 Help!
Have a 66 C10 and installing a new factory style harness. Hooked up the wiper motor and washer with the connections coming directly out of the harness; blue, white, yellow and black wires. Went to hook up the switch itself and there are no apparent connections. My switch has a set of jumper wires. Was I supposed to use those and connect directly to the motor and washer rather than the leads coming from the main harness?
There are three prongs on the wiper switch two of which are connected to the jumper wires (blue and black leads). What connection goes to the third prong on the switch? Is this a power lead from the main harness and if so what color is that lead? Help? |

Re: Wiper Switch Wiring 66 C10 Help!
There is no power going to the wiper switch on these trucks. The yellow wire at the wiper motor is the power supply. These use a switched ground to operate.
The blue wire comes from the wiper motor to the switch. There should be a black wire off the switch to ground. |
