Lift latch or push button seat belts?
Hey all,
I'm about to order some seat belts from Juliano's, and they have both lift latch and push button models. Do you have a preference? Do your lift latch ones ever get unlatched accidentally? I'll have my 6 year old riding with me, I was thinking maybe the push button would be better for a squirmy kid. Thanks for your input |

Re: Lift latch or push button seat belts?
Currently I prefer the push button type. I don't care for the "modern" lift latch buckles, as they are too small and the double side latch style is harder to insert in the buckle than the vintage buckles that had a single square hole in the center of the male end. Also the chrome lift latch buckles had a tendency to burn the snot out of the user when left in the sun.

The lift latch was the factory option and my personal preference.....I think they look better in these old trucks. But Marks correct about them getting hot in the sun.

I spotted your purdy orange truck again. Now you've got me thinking about a wheel and tire change. (I gotta have someone to blame when my wife asks) |

Re: Lift latch or push button seat belts?
My wife tries to discourage me from buying car magazines. They rarely have much that appeals to me, but they tend to get me thinking about new stuff to spend money on!

Well it was at Coburg Pizza. I was on my way to Burrito Amigos on 42nd and rubber necked at all the classics in the parking lot and then cruised through to get a closer look. Didn't want to go in and track you down during your meal lol.
