Extended brake flex lines (4x4)
I have a '69 4x4 and I added a lift to it. The outer covering of the flex brake lines have a few cracks and they seem a little too tight. I'd like to get new flex lines that are about 4" longer. I tried a company in town that specializes in custom hose and brake lines, but they had trouble finding the frame side fitting.
Someone must have done this previously? Any tips on where to find the fittings or get lines made up? Gracias! -Steve

Re: Extended brake flex lines (4x4)
They're probably talking about where the hose goes into the frame bracket and then clips on? If so, you can probably use a fitting from a later model hose (73-87). I'm doing a rear end swap. 68' H052 to a 75 14bolt. I ordered a rear brake hose for 75 and while it has 1 narrow tab and 1 wide tab instead of a hex pattern, it still fits and locks into the frame bracket.

Re: Extended brake flex lines (4x4)
I used Kore3. They will custom make your lines with the correct ends. My only complaint is that they took a couple of weeks to get.

Re: Extended brake flex lines (4x4)
Inline tube X 3. I used them for my K10 lift. Bought the braided steel with black covering so they look somewhat stock.

Re: Extended brake flex lines (4x4)
Offroad Design.. Be sure there is still flex on the hoses when the axles are at fully extended position

Re: Extended brake flex lines (4x4)
Thanks for all the tips.
Ordered from Inline Tube. Aaron, the guy who hooked me up, seemed to go out of his way to make sure I got what I needed. A rare commodity these days. -Steve
