Re: CL not mine but would like to own it
It's pretty nice, but the price seems kind of steep, in my opinion.

Re: CL not mine but would like to own it
that's pretty steep the driver side rocker is completely gone so how bad is the rest of it?
I guess being a shortbed he thinks he has a gold mine. |

Re: CL not mine but would like to own it
I think people are looking for deals. A high price might be sound for bargaining but it will probably scare away a lot of potential buyers, leaving your truck to sit for awhile.

Looks like it is one of the Janesville built Custom Deluxe trucks with the center justified "Deluxe" emblem.

Re: CL not mine but would like to own it
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder , I just sold one of my '67 short bed parts trucks to a man who saw it on ebay , I had listed it starting at .99 and thought it might bring $1,000.00 being a short fleet bed.It was completely stripped of the "good" parts He emailed me and asked if I would STOP THE AUCTION and take $3,200.00 for it ! With an immediate $500.00 down payment ! Well of course I would and did, He picked it up 3 days later and drove from South bend ,Indiana about 9 hours one way to get it ! Pricing trucks in here with the educated members is tough what I would have given $1,000.00 was worth $3,200.00 to him .

Re: CL not mine but would like to own it
Hey folks, its a 1971 Chevy ( not GMC ) short box 4 x 4 which aren't for sale very often and from what I've seen over the years is the model everyone wants. I think the 4 speed might be a slight deterent but if someone has been hunting for a 4x4 shortbox I think a savvy seller should get close to if not 6k for the truck.
