69 power brake booster pedal rod
I have the cap'n fab bracket and a 1969 booster/master. I accidentally broke the plastic "piston" style thing where the pedal rod goes in. So now I need to buy another booster. Is there another year booster I could use where the rod comes out easier so I can tap it for the conversion? I am keeping drum/drum so if there was a booster that would work with my new 1969 master and is easier to remove the pedal rod- that would be amazing. The pedal rod in the cardone. 69 booster won't just pull out. Looking ideally for a stronger booster with a rod I can just pull out.

Re: 69 power brake booster pedal rod
Grabbed a 1982 3/4 ton booster just now. The pedal rod on that is threaded and I think I'm on the right track with that. The 69 master fit on the studs as well. Will keep you posted on final fit ASAP.
