New steering wheel!!

Hi. I need some help:
1: idenfying the steering wheel in my -62 c10.
2: with understanding what type of steering wheel could be fitted. I like to change to something like a Grants wooden stering wheel.

Thanks!

at first glance it looks like the late 80's, through the 90s style GM pickup wheel.

You may wanna ask the 88-98 folks over in their area.

Re: New steering wheel!!

It's a late '80s S-10/S-15 truck or Blazer wheel.

I agree on the Blazer wheel. Do you know what the material applied to your door panels is?

Re: New steering wheel!!

Wheels are easy to replace and most (all?) of GM products are the same. I use this repo 69 camaro wheel on my Suburban. Fairly simple swap and I replaced the switch while I was in there.

Re: New steering wheel!!

it is aluminum plate, something like in this thread http://www.dfwmustangs.net/forums/sh...ad.php?t=13832

the previous owner put it almost everywhere! i doubt that it is a good choice from a sound perspective!
