Cab speakers

I built these awhile ago for my 66. I wanted something retro looking, that looked like it belonged in a truck. They are aluminum with brass screens and hold 4x6 speakers. I also have the dreaded door speakers so I will have to do something like this with them.

Re: Cab speakers

Great idea. Almost looks like an old microphone. Nice way to think outside the box.

Re: Cab speakers

Thanks guys.I was kinda going for a utility style, like something out of an airplane or drive-in speaker. They are not done yet, still need finish sanded.

Re: Cab speakers

Looks good. How is the clearance with the vent lever and leg room for the pedals?

Re: Cab speakers

Clearance is fine, you just can't reach them while driving.
