Seat bracket interchange between Suburban and Blazer.

I need to order seat brackets for my Recaros, a company, Wedge Engineering makes them but offers what seems like conflicting fit data. They offer 63-72 Suburban bucket brackets and 71-80 Blazer brackets. Of course my project is a 70 Jimmy. My assumption is that all 69-72 Jimmy/Blazers have the mounting points in the same place. When I talked to them they claimed GMCs and Chevys were different and I might need the Suburban brackets instead, as one customer they had ordered the Blazer brackets for a Jimmy and they didn't fit, this sounds like nonsense to me. What I think is more likely is that the Suburban brackets are the right ones in all cases, and the Blazer brackets are for *73*-80. I don't know that for sure, just a hunch, just wondering if anyone has ever bolted Suburban seats into a Blazer?

Wasn't really the question, I want to know if the holes in the floor for '67-72 Suburban and '69-72 Blazer *Buckets* are in the same place OR if '69-72 Blazer *Buckets* bolt down into the same holes as any '73-91 Blazers.

Re: Seat bracket interchange between Suburban and Blazer.

I don't know about Suburbans other than the passenger side will not fold forward like the Blazer.

I have a 1971 Blazer which originally had the non-utility bucket seats (like was an option in the '69-'72 pickups):
1) passenger side '70 Blazer utility bucket seat brackets did not line up
2) '73-'80 Blazer passenger side bucket seat brackets did not line up
3) '73-'80 Blazer driver side bucket seat brackets did not line up
