Seat options. Ford f150 seat?

Would it be too much of a sin to attempt this?

I used a different truck than usual at work the other day and it's a 2012 f150. It has a seat that reminds me of the buddy bucket. Two bucket style seats with a center seat that is seperate that the back folds down for an armrest but when that is up the seat lifts up to reveal storage.

I'm thinking worst case scenario a guy could build a frame for it to make it work.

Ideally I want a 95-98 60/40 but they are hard to get and don't come cheap

I fight with chevy against Ford monkeys constantly at work. I am a fan of both. Go for it.

General motors has build some amazing things. Ford has done the same.

That's a good deal but I want an armrest. Those seats do fit nicely though

Ya who cares if it's a ford part. Look how many guys swap in a 9" rear. I personally think if it works is good quality and looks good why not.

Re: Seat options. Ford f150 seat?

I'd do it if you can find one. The f*rd seat I'd love to find cheap(Impossible) is the F150 Harley edition seats. It fits the theme of my truck perfectly, and I really want black leather in my truck. I plan on doing my dash pad and maybe door panels in black leather as well.
Good luck.
Oh by the way, I'm currently running a 2001 Ram 60/40 with the arm rest with built in storage. A lot like Ivanuf2's but gray cloth. The problem with these seats IMHO is the back is too thick, creating a fairly tight fit. Still better than the original bench.

I had the king ranch set (I believe) in mine for a while. they were comphy but kindof big. They were buckets with the center flip down seat arm rest combo. Still have them...but I installed some from a trailblazer they are a little thinner so they and I seem to fit a little better.

Re: Seat options. Ford f150 seat?

I have a 13 RAM RCSB, has to be one of the most comfortable seats I have ever had in a truck. Very nice on long rides. I could see pulling the head rests off and re-covering in leather / suede or something for a C10, absolutely.
