New 65 Fleetside owner
Hey guys been lurking for a while. I have always wanted 64-66 fleetside. Dad and I picked up a 65 Fleetside in fairly decent condition body wise. Getting ready to make some progress the idea is to give it to my son who is 2 now later down the road. Get some pics up hopefully tomorrow or monday.

Re: New 65 Fleetside owner
OK so got over to Dads garage yesterday and started working a little bit trying to get a game plan together. First lesson learned upon initial inspection the body and cab looked nice lol. I get to practice some mig welding patch panels. Here are some pic please excuse the camera phone quality.

Re: New 65 Fleetside owner
My recent 66, long fleet is a project for my 14 year old daughter. She was thrilled when we got it. Like the song says, 'its more about life than fixing cars".

Re: New 65 Fleetside owner
I completely agree. I grew up building motors and car with my father and they are some great memories. Trying to give him some to look back on later.

Can't go wrong spending time with the kids, even if it's working on old trucks.
