gas pedal linkage humm.....................
I know to some of you this is going to be an idiotic question but I got to ask to save a lot of time lol. Seeing how this is my first 60-66 truck, I do not know what to use when it comes to hooking up a pedal to the motor. I got the pedal in the truck with the rod coming out of the firewall. The motor in the truck is just a mock up motor. it is a 350 sbc with a quadrabog on it. I will be going to a 4150 holley style carb in the future but I got to use the quadajet for now so, is there a part I can take off of another car/truck to get the linkage working correctly? I know there has to be something out there you sbc guys are all using to get your pedal working. I have not really looked into it fully yet as I got the motor running yesterday right before the rain ( again lol ) and realized I need some sort of cable from the rod to the carb. lmk what you guys came up with. I dont need a lokar system or anything like that just need it to do it's job if you know what I mean. ( nothing pretty ) the truck is a survivor, satin black with nothing fancy except the forced induction/ tranny stuff. lmk thanks
