core support mounting Kit?

I want to mount a 67 -68 core support on a 71 frame which core support kit do i use 67-68 or 69-72

the 67-68 if your using that year fenders and hood/grill

I thought it is the "ears" on the frame that are different after the 68 model year. The openings being a different shape and size, so my answer is 69-72 so that helps you...none. Back to Zero and maybe the next person can help settle this issue because the very last thing I would want to do is give wrong or bad info as knowledge, but that is what I remember from searching on here. 67-68 have flat panel headlight buckets , the 69-72 has the headlight buckets welded in place , use the mount /core support for the model fenders/grille /hood you want to use ,

My truck has a 68 front clip on a 71 frame and has the 69-72 mounts, the frame mounts are different on the 69-72 trucks, and have larger holes.

I agree with John. The frame has larger holes. I'm facing the same thing. I believe you use the mounts for the frame year, not the core year.

I have a 68 frame I'm using on my 69. I just replaced the frame mounts for the 69 mounts so everything will just bolt up

im gonna go with the 69-72 the frame holes are different on the later years ...but i believe the core mount holes are the same i have a 71 & 72 core as well Im gonna verify let u know how i make out
