68 GMC Custom
Well I found one I cant decide on a direction. I already have 2 trucks getting built and finished at the same time so I CANNOT keep this little gem.
Its a very decent truck as far as options go. There was no SPID on the GBD so I am confused as to the options. It has to be original. It hauled horse trailers all its life and sat in a barn. Its not perfect but its a good start or doner for a SWB truck IMHO. Doors and tailgate are super nice. Here is the specs... 327/350 Automatic transmission Power steering Power brakes Custom trim 2 full wheel GMC covers I haven't done anything to this but Ill have it washed this weekend and cleaned up. The bad... rockers cab corners rear cab supports d/s front fender (not rusted but dented) the good grill tailgate doors protect-o-plate Take a look at these pics and give me your thoughts. I hate to part such a nice truck. Last edited by Cash3481; 05-21-2014 at 11:39 PM. |

I'm saving you a few down here already. Lol I found you another 1 ton this week too but I already bought this red 68 and a green 72 chevy. Brakes worked good on the trailer! This one does not run, engine is there and the PO was changing out the intake and carb but stopped. I can't get it running with out a few hours of work at least. Wish me luck! Do I throw it on a swb frame and flip it as a project? Provide the other frame at additional money on a package deal? It's a 1 family owned truck with a lot of paperwork so I thought it should stay a LB. Thank you, I see your point! Hopefully cleaning it out an washing it will help. Re: 68 GMC Custom
I'll take the dash pad. Lol. I'd agree 12-1500. There will always be the sucker like me who has to have it and will pay too much.

Re: 68 GMC Custom
Could anyone explain to me the difference between a custom, and a custom camper? I've seen two different badges for them, but google has yielded nothing helpful on the subject. Any help would be appreciated, Thanks!
