Re: Ebay SS Headers
I would also be interested in opinions on these. I see they have the coated ones for just under 200 bucks.
I'm tempted to try them but I'm going to wait and see what others say. |

Re: Ebay SS Headers
I have a set of ss ebay headers for a test stand start up. I haven't got around to firing the engine up but I will say buy a good set of gaskets! Theres very little material between the primary and some of the bolt holes. Also, the package they shipped in sucks, so be prepared for small scratches and scuffs. Other than that, the hardware was decent and very usable. The flanges were thick and flat. Everything was welded nicely and the materials seemed nice. Ill grab a few pics in a minute. btw these are the 88-95 truck headers for $125 shipped.

Re: Ebay SS Headers
Those don't look bad at all. May have to put them on my list for winter projects. Thanks for the pictures!

Re: Ebay SS Headers
The only thing I have encountered with the cheap stainless headers off ebay is the shiny finish doesn't last. I've had a few sets and they don't take long to turn black. Also, the bolt holes are typically drilled oversize. Otherwise, decent quality and good price. Nice thick flanges that you won't get on an $800 set of headers.

Re: Ebay SS Headers
I think I'll try a set of the coated ones on my 77. The others I have looked at are at least double the price of these.
Thanks for the pics and comments.
