Spare Tire Tub Lid
I most likely will not be using my spare tire tub to hold the spare due to my tire size. I was thinking about making a lid for the spare tire tub to use that as storage and also extending my flat area of the bed when the lid is closed. Has anyone done this or seen someone do it?

Is that a 68? I like the taper on the hood leading edge. My 69's is almost straight up & down. Your hood has a much sleeker look.

Excelant idea! Since the floor in that area is plywood, a matchin cover should be easy. And you already have bolts holding the spare tub in place.

It is a 72 with a 68 clip. I bought it that way. I find the 68 front end to be a lot sleeker than the 72. I picked this burb up last October, so it is still new to me.

I have a little piece of plywood covering mine that the previous owner had made up. Nothing fancy, and I keep extra ratchet straps in the spare tire well. I can grab a picture if ya'll want one, but there aren't any hinges, it just sets on.
