Floor liner ideas?

All the mechanics are being finished up this weekend, with a new radiator/fan setup going in, and I'm going to start looking at the interior. Truck will be a beach ride, and I'm going to just line-X the floor but wondering if I put a heat/sound deadener underneath with the line-X adhere to it or will it peel up?

Has anyone else done something similar?

JMHO, but i think youre barking up the wrong tree.....

How about lizard skin on the under side of the truck, IIRC, it does have heat shield properties

Yea you're right on that Jim. Rust O leum makes "never wet" spray that a jeep buddy put on his wheel wells and loves it, although I'm not sure how durable it will be when road debris, rocks, sand, etc nick it up over time.

I've heard good things about lizardskin on this forum, going to pull the trigger on it soon.

Re: Floor liner ideas?

If you went the Al's route, you could apply their HNR (heat and noise reducer) as the base coat and the liner as the top coat. Maybe someone has done this and can attest to the quality? Also, jmho, you might get more eyes and more input on your post if it were not in the project and builds section.

Appreciate the feedback, I'll look at Al's liner as well.
