Finally got a old suburban.
After having a couple 68 short beds over the years I finally got a 68 suburban. Picked it up about 2.5 hours from where we live.
![]() Truck is mostly original. All three seats are there and it runs and drives great. Very little rust to deal with and will make a nice daily driver. My wife following me home in her 2008 Suburban... :-) ![]()

Engine is clean enough for a driver.

Re: Finally got a old suburban.
I have a 68 also. Picked it up in 1997 as a rolling shell. Stored it for 16 years and started the build on it last October. It's at the paint shop right now and should be out in a few more weeks. 496 BBC is done and waiting for the car. Can't wait.

Re: Finally got a old suburban.
I bought mine done with just odds and ends to do (neverending). I couldn't imagine having the patience required for a 7 year build. It'll be awesome to get 'er going. Are you on camaros.net too?

Re: Finally got a old suburban.
Yeah I get on there every once in a while. Yes it takes a bit of patience to keep one for 17 years.
