windshield swap?

Can a 47 to 53 windshield be installed in a 54 3100? I have a 49 and just bought a 54 but I like the split windshield better, thanks.

Re: windshield swap?

Nope....cabs are different
You are one of the few...many people want the one piece.
Someone will trade you cabs I am sure

Re: windshield swap?

Thanks, I guess I prefer the split is because my dad had a 53, it's still a badass truck though, the 54.

Re: windshield swap?

It would take the top of the cowl and the roof being changed to do it.

I got this off a guy who had cut it off a very rusted out truck and he may not have gotten enough of it to do that kind of swap.

You can see that there is a lot of difference in the windshield areas of the cabs.
