3 spd floor shifter
question for you guys, my uncle has a 54 with 3 0TT and was wondering does anybody make a good aftermarket 3 spd floor shifter, He's needing more gut room and needs to do this conversion in order to shorten the steering shaft and move the column closer to the dash to help with the gut, removing the gut is not an option as he's worked very hard to get.... Thanks.

Re: 3 spd floor shifter
A LONG time ago, I used Hurst products. Do not know about the column, it is enclosed, shortening will require resplineing it unless you want to risk cutting and welding, which I never recommend on steering parts.

Re: 3 spd floor shifter
Here's what you need. Best you can get. Has a bolt on stick so you can install different height or shaped sticks. You need the install kit too.
I've used them for the same reason. Took me years to develop my 'Dunlop" too!! http://www.summitracing.com/int/part...commendedparts |

Re: 3 spd floor shifter
Hurst used to make a pickup shifter with a longer handle.
