Time to properly introduce myself(bagged AD 22x12)
I am a long time lurker, I have posted some pics before but now the truck is closer to completion. My dad owned this truck since the mid 90's when I was a kid. He drove it for a few years. Then it stayed parked for a few years. Then it was stuck in a body shop for many years since he started restoring it. He passed away 2 1/2 years ago when the truck was still in pieces. I couldnt let the truck go so I continued the project and now It can finally be driven again. The truck took Best of Show at this years Lone Star Nationals with the old Centerline smoothie wheels and currently incomplete interior.
Its has countless body mods, bagged on a C10 frame, 20/22x12's, 5.3 with a built 4l70e, Circle D 3,000 stall, narrowed rear with a Detroit True Trac and 4:11's. Still needs carpet and to get the door panels and headliner wrapped in suede.

Re: Time to properly introduce myself(bagged AD 22x12)
Thank you. The reason my dad bought the truck was that he was born in '55. And I spotted it in a car lot we were driving by when I was about 10 years old.

Re: Time to properly introduce myself(bagged AD 22x12)
Thanks everybody. The truck drives great with plenty of power. My dad always liked western movies and guns so I had to have that steering wheel when I saw it.

Very nice !
Do you mind sharing what you used for tubs? Is the bed a sprayed in bedliner? Nice clean look. Any chassis pics? Last edited by hotrodelrod; 12-13-2014 at 04:21 PM. |

Re: Time to properly introduce myself(bagged AD 22x12)
Thanks guys.
It still has the C10 arms but the shims have been removed and the holes on the crossmember where the lower control arms bolt to have been slotted to allow to bring the control arms further in and thus narrowing the track width. Plus the fenders are cut and rolled. They are plain old trailer tubs like everybody uses that have been modified. Yes, it is a sprayed bedliner. The inside of the fenders and underside of the bed and cab are also bedlined. I don't currently have any chassis pics.
