tyres/Tires

Good morning Gentlemen,

Looking for advice on tyre selection.

Truck will be used for trackdays/autocross (in addition to being street driven so no slicks!) but want to retain a 15 x 8 wheel. So, with that in mind, what would you suggest?

Many thanks,

P.

Re: tyres/Tires

Sorry!

Currently in planning stage but will be close to the following.

Truck is a 66. 2.5" dropped spindles and 3' coils. Front and rear ARB Bilstein shocks, rear shocks relocated. 4" springs and 2' blocks on rear. Chassis partially boxed. Caster Mod. Poly bushing.

Many thanks

Paul

Re: tyres/Tires

Do you want a good all season tire or a good summer tire for it?

Re: tyres/Tires

Quite happy to change wheel and tyres for winter use, it doesn't get too inclement here in the UK, but looking more for a good 'sticky' tyre that can be driven on the road with a modicum of life.

Reason for the question. Is that 15" tyres that fit the bill here are nearly impossible to get now. Cheap and nasty, not a problem! Has got to the stage where I am. Inside ring going to a 17" but really want to avoid that if possible.

Truck is still in California so plan is to shop back the tyres with the truck.
