5.3 LS swap plastic intake cover questions

I just purchased a low mile 5.3 for my swap. What has everyone done on the plastic intake cover? I'm shaving the vortec badge off and painting it to match my truck. Anyone else do a similar or better look for the intake cover. Also will a stock tbss or ssr cover bolt up to my intake? Also any other ideas for a custom cover, I can't swap to a ls1 car intake yet. But will look into it for the future

Re: 5.3 LS swap plastic intake cover questions

Street and performance makes a smooth one piece cover that covers intake and coil packs.

Re: 5.3 LS swap plastic intake cover questions

Don't know how to do a link. But go to top of this page and just to the right of the forum thread is a search area. pick 67-72 chevy truck. com and type in" LS intake covers" in the open area and then press enter. Came up with about 10 pages of info. Hope this helps...Jim
