My 75 has a factory roll bar, did previous years (73-74 2 whl dr) come with roll bars, including 69-72?

Re: REF 2 whl drive Blazers/Jimmys with roll bar

Been a while but this what I remember about the roll bar deal...

'69-'72 No factory roll bar. 70 was first yr for 2wd.
Aftermarket dealer installed. Most likely Hickey.

'73-'74 was an option. GM parts book lists as available for '73-75 but can't find any info in sales lit about roll bars in '73-'74. Again pretty sure it was Vic Hickey suppling them.

'75 is yr it became standard but only if you ordered a hardtop. 2wd or 4wd.
No hardtop (they were optional) no roll bar. Didn't matter if plain or Cheyenne model.
There was no RPO code for roll bar.

Where is the best place to get a roll bar for a 75 today? Any recommendations?

I got mine off a 74 4wd blazer. Were they any different between 2 and 4wd? I know I've seen a 73 with a factory looking roll bar that was a different style than mine, so I'm guessing they made several designs?

I got one - or thought I had - from a 74 too. but when it came time to bolt it in, it didn't actually fit with enough room to have the interior wall of the bed fitted and get it into place. Quite annoying.

Correct you are. The front leg bolt holes are in place on all trucks due to the rocker boxes being sealed up. No way to add a plate or nut and bolt it. The upper door jamb hole is also there behind the trim panel.
