New gauges...recommendations?

Mine don't work so they're coming out. Anyone have any recommendations for some decent looking affordable gauges/clusters?

I found a direct fit digital cluster from Dakota Digital, but they just don't look very good and they really don't go with the truck.

All thoughts/pics would be appreciated!

Reach out to TBONE1964 on the forum. He restores gauges and clusters and does a good job. He can probably set you up with a new clusters.

If you decide to go with a new set, I have used the Autometer "Street Rod Series" in a couple of vehicles and liked them. They are all electric and have a few different styles to choose from. Price is fair too.

I agree on contacting TBONE1964 and see what he can do for your original gauge cluster.

I haven't used them yet but Speedhut gauges are made in the USA I've heard good reviews on them.

If you decide to go new rather than restore, I'd second the Speedhut recommendation. That's what I went with and their gauges are top notch. They can also customize them virtually any way you would like. Also, the fuel gauge is programmable and will work with your stock sending unit.

you can also try Marshall Gauges. They are ok and made in USA. 6 gauge kit averages $320 to $350. I have them in my truck and think they are ok and do the job. If I had the cash to spend I would go with better.

Hey thanks guys! Should've mentioned the gauges in the truck now are crummy aftermarket. No original cluster to be restored! I'll check out those brands.

66LSx, could you give a list of those 10 gauges you have? My '66 C10 has the original cluster in dash but only the speedo works. I am planning on replacing them with lots of gauges in the very near future. Either I will keep the cluster frame or I will set the gauges in a sheet of painted steel. -Alden

Left to right : fuel level, voltage, speedo, tach, oil psi, water temp, (center: vacuum, fuel PSI, trans temp) (right: clock)

Will eventually be redesigned with 2 more (12 total then) : Air/Fuel Ratio and one of my choosing. ( air psi if i do air bags)
