New to forum
Hi guys ( and girls ) I have enjoyed and learned much from this site and have just finished my 69 GMC Custom and would like to show it off. My Dad bought it in 1970 and it was always a favorite of his ( and mine )It was parked for most of the last 15 years and last October I started on it. My Dad unfortunately passed away in 1985 and I vowed I would restore it some day. Painted factory color (511) turquoise , had a 307 originally , now has a 350 / 350 trans and 3.07 gears , new floor, doors and the usual rust repaired. It was quite a challenge to put back together , but with the help of this forum and lots of patience I am very happy how it turned out. Just started driving it and making some adjustments and ready to enjoy it.

Re: New to forum
Looks great!. I really like the houndstooth seat cover. Congrats on rebuilding this in honor of your dad. I am doing the same thing for the father in law. Thanks for the inspiration.

Re: New to forum
Thanks to everyone for your support . I learned to drive with this truck. It came with turquoise houndstooth seat from new,but I could not find anyone to make one as original , so I thought the black and white would look okay . It has 255/70/15 rubber . I"ll add a few more pics
