how does this air bag kit sound?????

Air Ride Technologies - RidePro Air Management System - 2 Way System - 1/4" Lines
ARC1000
Includes a 315 compressor, CON 1000 single paddle control panel, 1 gallon tank, 30 ft. of 1/4" airline and fittings. This system one end of the vehicle. Rise Time: 10-12 Seconds

2- Firestone - Air Bag - Double Convoluted
3/8" NPT Inlet
6827FIR
Rated for up to 3000LBS @ 100PSI
Ride Height: 6.50" - 8.00"
Max Diameter: 8.60"

will this stuff work together? the management system has 1/4" lines and it looks like the air bags have a 3/8" inlet, is this going to be a problem, is there an adapter, or is there a better bag that would work with this?
thanks

$359 + $119 + $119?? For a two way system??? I think you can do it a lot cheaper buy the parts separate.

Well, it kind of depends on what you want. 2-way or 1-way control of the rear bags? (each bag valved individually or tied together). Electric valves or manual valves? Electric valves are quicker but for just a rear bag set up, manual would work okay. What size tank? Will you be raising and lowering the truck often, or just occassionally? Do you plan to add front bags in the future? For a basic rear system I bet you could do it for about $100 cheaper.

I'd recommend going with the biggest compressor you can afford and switching up to 3/8's airline. You can run a few small air tanks together in series or one big one. It's easier to hide the smaller tanks. If you check how semi's and other big trucks run there air systems you'll not find a big tank, instead they run about 3-4 smaller 3 gallon tanks. Hope this helps.

I'd suggest running 4-3/8" smc valves with 3/8" port Firestone bags, 3/8" line and 1-Viair450C compressor and a 5 gallon tank.

You could still use the ART control panel but you'd have to wire it up rather than using their plug/play wiring. It will be faster, cheaper and if the speed is too much you can put some adjustable filters on the dump valves to slow it down.
