Inner lower bed rust fix's

Without buying bed skins what are my options here? This is a budget build and want it to have a shop truck look but don't want parts falling off going for the road. Anyone have a home brew fix for this?

Re: Inner lower bed rust fix's

Only quick fix if you just want a shop truck without welding in the correct replacement panels would be some angle iron.

Re: Inner lower bed rust fix's

Try to find someone with a large metal break and have them bend up some "L" pieces. Weld them in, prime, and use a bed coating like Raptor liner.

Otherwise wire wheel it down really good and use some rusty metal primer and good top coat to slow it down.

Yep, exactly what I did. Cut metal strips, bent on a brake, screwed in place. Worked perfectly. Surprised no one sells them...

Did you just use sheet metal screws or what? Thinking I would stitch weld mine or should I just use the screws?
