Lowered and bagged guys driveshaft ??
I currently have a rear flip in my 86 Burb with the 2pc drive shaft and the diff set back to account for drive shaft length. I am planning to swap to a 1pc as I have it already and am tired of replacing carrier bearings. I would like to center the diff so the wheels dont look out of place and am wondering how much you guys have had to shorten the shaft to make this work?
Also bags are in the future plans and hope to lay frame. What have you guys done about the drive shaft length?

In other words, if you scoot the wheels forward in the opening 3/4" you'll need to shorten the shaft that same 3/4" or so (it's not totally precise because of the dynamic slip in the trans/yoke). k

Re: Lowered and bagged guys driveshaft ??
Most flip brackets I have seen have the hole for the pin on the leaf spring off-set to correct for that. But that might require the driveline to be shortened?
