Lets see some pics of those painted bumper/grills

I have looked all over the site with no luck of finding a thread showing painted bumper/grills. I would like to see what everyone is doing. I don't want to use a chrome bumper/grill and I also don't want to paint it traditional white.....so what to do? Well, I am going with a gunmetal color. You will also note that I am going with a GMC grill...I love the GMC look. What paint color or grill combo is everyone else doing?

Not so much paint as powdercoat, and the grill isn't done yet. But you get the idea.

This is the way a PO did mine. I'm gonna change it as I dont think it works as body color. I'm thinking of changing it to an accent color.

I agree that white grill/bumper looks clean. This issue is that my truck will be flat white with candy apple green stripe. I am wondering if i paint the stripe behind the grill green how that will look.

So, because I am going with a white truck I think white grill and bumper will be to much white. Who knows...we will see.

Dble Hump, I like that look. Where did the Chevrolet letters come from?

Re: Lets see some pics of those painted bumper/grills

Here are some shots of my trim. I just re-finished it with a Rustoleum Heirloom White.

This is an original hubcap, paint and all. The Heirloom white is a near match.

I went with poly silver. Thought it would look better with the white surround.

Bought this last week. Gonna put it on a 64 Chevy.

Thinking about putting this S 10 emblem in it.

These letters came off the bigger trucks of our year. The letters were mounted on top of the grill. I don't recall what size truck but they were dump truck size. I will have to cut them down to make hem fit.
