Re: BUILD THREAD 66 c10 inline 6 4 speed
I have now decided to pull the inline 6/4 speed and go with 350/t350 auto. So I'm waiting to get the new tranny installed before fab'n up the floor pan. Then the carpet can go in. |

Re: BUILD THREAD 66 c10 inline 6 4 speed
Picked up a 350 today! Needs carb, intake, valve covers, starter bolts, chassi pads to accept the 350 and a turbo 350 to finish. Then I'll be on the road again.

FWIW, $500 is very optimistic IMO/IME; I'd guess something more like $100-200 for the engine and $50-100 for the trans. |

Re: BUILD THREAD 66 c10 inline 6 4 speed
Got the oil pan off and all internals look good! Gonna get this thin cleaned up and new gaskets and find a trans to bolt on. |
