Source for Original Silver Color Door Plugs
Hi Everyone,
I have a 1965 C20 with the factory silver door plugs installed and when I got it back from the paint shop, one of the plugs in the side of the door was broken apart. I found a black set on Ebay - but would like to find the original silver color. Can anyone give me some direction on where to look? Thanks for your help! Paul |

Re: Source for Original Silver Color Door Plugs
I always thought the door hole plugs were black with the fawn interior, could be a ziebart hole or you can paint them silver (are the originals silver on both sides?). Here they are at classic parts__http://www.classicparts.com/1960-72-.../#.U_ZSfRsg-cw

What I have, which I believe to be original to the Truck as it has not been molested that much - is Silver through and through(both sides, molded in a silver/grey material). Would like to find originals if possible.

Re: Source for Original Silver Color Door Plugs
Look into caplug.com. I think they were the original supplier and the design hasn't changed. The color may be a problem.
