Question POP sound up front

Tonight when I left the house headed down sunrise ave (long straight 2 lane road), and going over a few slight bumps I was hearing a "pop" sound coming from up front with the stereo turned up. I was thinking it might be the idler ar?
TIA,
David

it could be just about anything, the best thing to do is jack the truck up and put it on jack stands, shake the tires side to side and look for anything with any excess movement it, it could also be a broke shock check it out real good while you have it in the air, good time to grease everything that is not bad do not grease any worn out parts

LMAO

The only worn parts that I could find was the outer tie rods, and the idler arm. Today I replaced the idler arm, and I could move the one wheel about 2 inches before the other wheel would turn. That's with both wheels off of the ground. She responds awesome now, but I still need to replace the outer tie rods. There's still a little play in the steering. Tomorrow i'll have to take her for a ride to see if the "pop" sound has gone away. I'll post an update tomorrow.
Many Thanks,
David

after you replace the tierod ends make sure you have it aligned so you will not wear out the tires

She now barely makes the pop sound, it'll probably totally go away after the outer tierods are replaced.
After tierods are replaced, i'll be taking her to get an alignment.
Thanks again,
David
