I need a swb driveshaft for an automatic, is that what you have
and if so how is the center hanger
??? can I make a one piece shaft fit on my short bed? I have a good yoke and my old shaft(good back tube)
A single shaft would be cool if it is not a hard mod. THANKS

The 2 piece shaft is from a 307 3 speed truck. You can have a 1 piece made. That's what I did. I was going to use the Impala shaft but ended up getting a complete new one done.

I wouldn't have a clue how to ship this. UPS says it's too big. There's no major dents but it does need some work.

Can you be a little more specific on the "needs work"? I have never tried to do any bodywork, but I might try. I might could come pick it up.

A flat piece of metal was welded to cover the recessed area of the tailgate. Then it looks like bondo was applied to smooth out where the flat metal was welded. It also looks like it sat outside and has some surface rust. I didn't do any of the work to the tailgate. It was with a truck I parted out. If I was going to use it I would sandblast and then re apply the bondo. The bondo that's there isn't thick at all. It also has some holes drilled on the inside where it looks like some trim or something was attached. It's not a show quality gate but it's not bowed or rusted. I'm in south Ft Worth.
