grommet

Hi guys I've tried the search section but didn't get my answer.
Can someone tell what size and where to get the grommet that fits the side of the valve cover on a 230? Its the one that breaths from the air cleaner.
Thanks for any help

Re: grommet

Old Cruiser, Perhaps until one of the knowledgeable guys responds, why don't you just take out the grommet and measure it and then just google x size pcv grommet? You will get hundreds of vendors.

Re: grommet

I would but it's my daily driver and I reckon it will brake into pieces if I try and remove it.

Re: grommet

Old Cruiser, Well I googled "Gromment PCV Chevrolet 60-66 250 ci" and I get plenty of vendors for the grommets. Summit came up first. Just compare the shape. You could give them a call too I suppose. This really should not be such a headache. They are pretty cheap items. And be careful when removing the old one if it is disintegrating. Maybe put some rubber cement on it to hold it in one piece for removal. If it is your daily any local auto parts store should have any grommets you need. The manual should also have the specs -if you want, I can check the manual for you.
