Re: air swap for just heater
That's just crazy talk! Just kidding, yes I forget the company but someone makes a conversion heater box for the engine compartment portion. I'm sure someone else can chime in with more precise information.

Re: air swap for just heater
Quick answer - yes, you will have extra holes.
This thread shows the main differences, but there will also be other holes in the firewall that you will not need, for the A/C wiring harness and the cowl air valve. You will also have the three vents in the dash that you will not use, although there's no reason not to leave them there. http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=419390 I did it the other way round - Non A/C to A/C. None of it was too hard.

Firewalls are quite a bit different between a/c and non a/c trucks. Or you could get something like this http://www.speedwaymotors.com/Speedw...BTU,93550.html

Re: air swap for just heater
yes you will have extra holes and the heater and ac boxes inside and out are different, ac truck the heater core is inside the cab and ac one is outside and non heater truck hearer core is outside the cab.
