Return Fuel Line Goes Where??
Hello all,
can someone PLEASE post some pics of what the RETURN LINE is connected to...in the front where the frame is. the hard line ends and continues with a rubber hose...but where this goes to--I do not know. I have checked every page in the "factory assembly manual" and has no pics of this...only the hard lines It does not go into the fuel pump as the fuel pump only has two outlets: 1-fuel line in from tank 2-fuel line out from pump to carb Please any pics would be appreciated ..thanks |

May be the line that goes to the emissions system charcoal canister located at the front right fender.

landy-
I think you are talking about the Vapor line- which does go to a charcoal canister. my question is about the return line---where does it return fuel from? I have three hard lines: -fuel line -return line -vapor line |

Re: Return Fuel Line Goes Where??
The correct fuel pump for a 72 350CI has one inlet (from the tank to the pump) and two outlets, one to the carb and one for the return back to the tank.

Re: Return Fuel Line Goes Where??
I know your having problems with this so here is a picture. Inlet is 3/8s (green spring clamp), return is 1/4 (red spring clamp), pump to carb is 3/8s (black AN6 line and outlet facing oil pan).
