Windshield gasket - inside out?

I've read through all the articles on installing using rope and soap etc - and I think I'm ready to tackle this - believe it or not I'm stuck on the gasket itself. I think I may have reverse - the inside to the out and the out to the in. I can't for the life of me tell if I have this thing on right...the picture kind of sucks but hoping maybe someone has done this lately.

Re: Windshield gasket - inside out?

In case someone else stumbles across this later - I did have it inside out. Here's a good little picture for those who come along behind.
