Where to buy stock replacement piston
Does anyone know where I can buy a stock replacement piston for my 250 6 cyl? I tried NAPA and Advanced Auto Parts but no luck.

Re: Where to buy stock replacement piston
If you need just one, make sure the new one is weighted the same. I couldn't find one that was weighted even close so I had to replace all the pistons.

Re: Where to buy stock replacement piston
I was planning on only replacing the damaged one but didn't realize the weight issue. I can replace all of them just need to know what the stock measurements is or a part # so I can order them.

Re: Where to buy stock replacement piston
You will definitely want to contact a machine shop. Get the piston weighed and see if they can get you something that weighs the same. Pistons can have huge differences in weight. It will be measured in grams and without measuring what you have there is no real way to know.

Re: Where to buy stock replacement piston
You might want to get 307 flattop pistons instead.
