Rust inside the window channel

I have a nearly rust free blazer that has some starting to form inside the window channel. How have others addressed the issue of stopping this rust? I thought about trying to sandblast down into the window post, but not sure how effective that would be.

Ideas?

No one here have any experience with saving a good windshield post?

Lots of talk about replacing, but this one is still good and want to keep it that way.

I have a can of the eastwood frame coating coming, so probably going to try it. Any possible issues with moisture draining after I do it? How big is the passage out the bottom, or is there one?

Haven't done mine yet, but that's exactly the stuff I was going to use myself.

I can't see any downsides to it.

I believe it drains down and out the cowl vent box . At the bottom you'll see the opening
