Paint divider trim measurements
I am installing the paint divider trim around the back of the cab, and am wondering if someone could grab me a few measurements. First is the height of the center of the trim, from either the ridge below the trim, or the lip of the rear window, and secondly, measurements from the door opening on one side of the cab to each of the studs which the plastic clips mount to. I know it's a task, but if someone has the trim off and could grab me these specs, it would be GREATLY appreciated. If you need a better description of what I'm looking for, please ask. Thanks!

Cool! I need the same measurements! I ground off my studs, but then changed my idea for the paint scheme so now I want them back!
I think the bottom of the trim lines up with the bottom of the drip rail.

I think they do too, but I want to make sure the studs are in the right spots, and that there is no place on the inside of the trim that would interfere with the plastic clips or the studs.

Have you considered just using some two-sided trim tape? (I think such a beast exists). I've thought about this, but haven't looked into it yet.

The bottom of the trim is about 3/8" higher than the bottom tip of my drip rail. And the center of my trim is 1-13/16" above the ridge.

If I can get to my cab tonight, I'll measure the pins: I have the trim off.

GMCPauls (MEMBER!) has the studs as well....I think the double-sided tape is out of the question; the trim snaps onto plastic clips that are probably 3/16" - 1/4" thick, so if you looked at a cross section of the trim, it would look like a C. If it were like most trim pieces that are flat on the paint side, then the tape would definitely be the way to go. Been thinking about that one too.
