Re: What radiators for ls1 swap
I just used my stock '72 radiator, using 2005 Silverado hoses. They fit a bit tightly on the radiator side, but putting some dishwashing soap on them let them slide on just fine.

Same deal here, with dual elect fans....wax on 205/off 195(Painless controls). The old copper /brass rad works, if in good condition? Longhorn

Re: What radiators for ls1 swap
Stock radiator works great on my 82 . I see no need to change it out unless you need a new one . Even then I would by a stock one to go back in .

Re: What radiators for ls1 swap
I'm using OE tanks & bracket with 4-core high efficiency guts & relocated / resized necks on my '57.
So... that's totally unrelated to what you are asking. I think the others are right, though - if you had a V8 truck to begin with, I wouldn't change the radiator. I'd change the hoses to fit the radiator you've got. Summit Racing has great search features to help you find molded hose with the bends & sizes you need; that and some hose connectors from Speedway Motors and you can plumb anything.

Re: What radiators for ls1 swap
China Champion radiator from ebay and I welded bosses to the tanks for fan mounting. Have to use 4 core mounts, but it works great. Have done it on a couple builds.

Re: What radiators for ls1 swap
I bought an LS radiator from eBay from seller dissrad, they make them in-house and US made. I called them about a truck LS setup and it is $300. I have heard nothing but good things about their quality and the one I have for my Camaro is very nice.
