Stales and won't start
I have a 1966 custom camper 327 with points and trubo 400 trans. This wire is loose i replace the vacuum advance and the screw is striped and the ground wire will not stay tight. So dwell 28 degrees and 8 degrees before top dead center. i got the engine running fine drove a block staled and would not start

not sure what the question is, but if you lose ground to the dizzy the engine will die and wont restart. fix the ground to clean unrusted metal and cross your fingers...

Your distributor and a couple other things don't look right. |

Use a self tapping screw in place of that one. |
